Ok, let's just say I am shallow It's ok I admit the draw to this book was the cover, the idea of a dirty talking Brit had me all excited to read this. Full disclosure, I always love all of that. The hiccup Now those who adore NA will love this Because NA is not my thing I came into this thinking it was about an older group I should have l 3.
I should have learned more about the book before reading I loved this concept. Basically everything worked.

Lots of smart dialogue, chemistry and story. The drawback was the fella was 23 and I felt his maturity level was so high in many ways Again me. Those who love NA will enjoy it Those who love romance will love it too.

It's no secret I'm a worshipper at the church of Robin Bielman and, if you've never had the pleasure—which trust me her writing is—then now is the time to put that right. Flirty and charming, Mateo Gallagher is a huge hit with the ladies both as himself and his alter ego, radio presenter, Bennett. I'll be honest, it took me a little time for him british chat win me over, largely down to his cocky, self-confident ego which was perhaps exacerbated by the fact that Talk British to Me is written in 4.
I'll be honest, it took me a little time for him to win me over, largely down to his cocky, self-confident ego which was perhaps exacerbated by the fact that Talk British to Me is written in the first person, from a his-and-her perspective, but win me over he did. Teague on the other hand, was quite the opposite. And, as they get to know one another, everything starts to click into place with you just knowing Robin is going to do what she does best: create relatable, memorable characters with a fantastic chemistry, bring the giggles, swoons and make you feel everything from frustration to those flutters brought on by a british chat kiss.
Or in this case roving hands and a way with words. Yes this is a slower burn romance but, in terms of NA, it's a breath of fresh air being light, low on the drama and angst, and giving you the chance to really get to know Mateo and Teague, whilst at the same time creating sexual tension and anticipation which is worth the wait.
And when you add in their fabulous friends and, for those who've read the Secret Wishes series, the return of a few familiar and loved faces, Talk British to Me is a promising start to the Wherever You Go series leaving plenty of scope for more. I'll just be sat over here, im patiently waiting. Copy generously provided by the author for an honest and unbiased opinion.

Jun 08, Claire rated it really liked it Shelves: shit-hot-seriesentangled. Its LIVE! Mateo is happy living his life one date at a time, whilst anonymously fronting a radio show about dating, Teague is very much the traditional dater, one-night-stands are not her MO.
The chemistry between the two of them and how Mateo constantly teased Teague about it was what carried this story for me. Robin excels at the banter, and it was stellar for everyone included in this book.
The dual POV is great in giving you the story from both of their perspectives though, I just struggled at points especially in the first half to get out to my head and into the story because of it.
